Places To Go To
Within the pages of this site we will be taking a mental tour of Seattle and surrounding areas together. I invite you to go to my “Things To See” page also found on this site. There you will find more interesting aspects of the Seattle area.
Food And Other Things At The Water Front
Have you ever walked the water front? Alaskan Way is a great place to walk. You’ll find shops and out door eating places. You’ve got to stop by Ivar’s walk-up Sea Food stand. It’s like a little bit of the ocean sea food dining experience, right at your finger tips.
Be sure and stop in at McCormick’s Restaurant. Seems that if you are “Irish”, it’s the place to go to. And yes, at certain times of the year, “everyone is Irish”, like it or not. 🙂
Puyallup is another place that you’ll enjoy the fair in September. (pronounced as : pew al up)
The Water Fall At Snoqualmie (snow qual me)
The Snoqualmie Falls in Fall City is a must, to go to. Did you know that it is far taller than Niagara Falls? The best time to go to the overhanging look-out, to see the falls is in the early spring when tremendous amounts of water are flowing. The melting snows from the Cascade Mountains flow into the Snoqualmie River. You’ll love the brisk feeling you get from the spray. Be sure and take a few pictures. Don’t forget to stop in at the Snoqualmie Falls Lodge and grab a bite to eat. The food is fantastic!
There are so many more places to go that it would take many, many pages to share with you. That is what you’ll find within these blog pages.
